Report: Tony Elliott being considered for head coaching job |
Clemson won their third straight ACC title in a row as they embarrassed Miami 38-3 on Saturday night.
One of the underrated pieces of the ascension of the Clemson juggernaut has been the solid coaching and recruiting by co-offensive coordinator Tony Elliott. However, it appears that schools are starting to take notice of the 38-year offensive mind and former Clemson receiver. According to a report by Fox Sports reporter Bruce Feldman, Elliott is being considered for the vacant head coaching position at UCF. Sources have told Feldman that UCF's offensive coordinator Troy Walters and Toledo head coach Jason Candle are also strong candidates for the job. Hearing #Clemson Co-OC Tony Elliott is getting some traction for #UCF head coaching vacancy. Very impressive man with an amazing personal story.
