Report: Swinney to attend Alabama-Arkansas to celebrate '92 National Title |
Alabama's 1992 National Championship team that went 13-0 under Gene Stallings will be celebrated during Saturday night's Alabama vs. Arkansas game at 7:15 p.m. in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
“Looking forward to seeing Coach Stallings and his team back for the 25th anniversary of their national championship,” Saban said during his Wednesday press conference. “So, it’s an exciting weekend for us, and we hope we do well.” According to multiple reports including the Tuscaloosa News, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney is currently scheduled to attend as well as Clemson coaches Woody McCorvey, Danny Pearman, Lemanski Hall, and director of recruiting and external affairs Thad Turnipseed. Swinney lettered three years at Alabama (1990-1992). Alabama’s 1992 national title team, including Clemson’s Dabo Swinney, will be honored Saturday vs. Arkansas.
