Report: Clemson to hire Rhode Island assistant coach |
Clemson Basketball will hire Rhode Island assistant coach Antonio Reynolds-Dean according to college basketball insider Jon Rothstein. The 40-year old will fill the vacancy after former Clemson assistant Mike Winiecki was let go after the season.
Reynolds-Dean coached at College of Charleston in 2014-15 besides his last two-year stint coaching at Rhode Island. During his college playing days, he was a standout performer for the Rams scoring over 1000 points. After college, he played nine seasons professionally including stints in Europe and in Argentina. Clemson's Brad Brownell will hire Rhode Island's Antonio Reynolds-Dean as an assistant coach, per a source. Strong southeast ties.
