Report: Clemson adds future non-conference foes |
FBSchedules.com reported Wednesday night that Clemson made three additions to its future out of conference schedule recently.
The site learned that Clemson will host The Citadel in 2020 and 2024 in games currently slated for November. The other addition is Charleston Southern in November 2026. Clemson is scheduled to travel to Notre Dame and host South Carolina and Akron in 2020. The Tigers host South Carolina again in 2024. The Tigers host Kent State in the opener Sept. 2 and Auburn on Sept. 9 this season, wrapping up the non-conference schedule with The Citadel on Nov. 18 and at South Carolina, Nov. 25. Next season, a trip to Texas A&M highlights the non-conference schedule (Sept. 8) and the Aggies return to Death Valley in 2019 (Sept. 7). Notre Dame is also on the slate in 2022 (at Notre Dame), 2023 (home), 2027 (home), 2028 (away), 2031 (home), 2034 (away) and 2037 (home).
