2021 Malvern Prep (Pa.) outfielder Lonnie White Jr. announced a commitment to Clemson Thursday night.
"Truly blessed and honored to say that I have verbally committed to play at Clemson University," he posted. "Thank you to everyone who has supported me and helped me get to this point!!" White, who hits and throws right-handed, hit .290 with 24 RBIs and 26 runs scored in 100 at-bats and also posted 13 stolen bases and a 1.000 fielding percentage. White also plays wide receiver at the same high school as Clemson football commit Keith Maguire. Truly blessed and honored to say that I have verbally committed to play at Clemson University.
