Mike Williams Several members of the coaching staff including Dabo Swinney have gone over to check on Williams who is still on the ground after hitting his upper body into the goal post. The Clemson training staff is bringing in a stretcher and a cart for Williams and the Clemson student body was calling his name in support. Williams raised his hand for a big thumbs-up as he was driven off on the stretcher. The play was reviewed and Williams has his first touchdown (4-yards) of the year. Huegel nails his first PAT to put Clemson up 7-0 over Wofford with 11:07 to go in the first quarter. Williams had 1,030 receiving yards and 6 TDs last season and 77 catches for 1,346 yards and nine touchdowns in his career. As soon as we get more information from the Clemson SID, we will pass it on to you. Update: Williams has a neck injury and is being transported to Oconee Hospital according to Clemson football Twitter account. Swinney on Williams' condition during his halftime interview: “They think he’s OK. … Don’t want to take any chances but so far, so good." Update 2: Mike Williams continues to undergo tests at the hospital. He is standing and has full use of extremities. Tests will continue today.
