The Detriot Lions announced they have activated rookie defensive end Austin Bryant from the reserved/injured list on Wednesday.

Bryant had offseason surgery for a torn pectoral muscle and has not played this NFL season yet. Detriot plays Washington on Sunday.

The Lions selected him the fourth round out of Clemson in the 2018 NFL Draft.

He earned first-team All-American honors in 2017 with 15.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks and picked up all-bowl selections in 2018 after a playoff run that included four tackles for loss and two sacks.

The Pavo, Georgia product totaled 153 tackles, 35 for loss, with 20 sacks and 32 QB pressures over 51 games (29 starts).
