"Venables, Shannon, and Bill Clark of Univ. of South Alabama are the leading candidates for DC at Clemson. Clemson coach Dabo Sweeney did call Venables last night. Former Miami coach Randy Shannon has interest in Clemson D-Coordinator job. Venables has withdrawn from consideration at West Virginia."
