The latest Heisman odds were released by Bovada Sportsbook and Clemson junior quarterback Deshaun Watson currently has 9-2 betting odds on winning the prestigious Heisman Trophy award.

However, Watson is not the main favorite as Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey is the current Heisman front-runner according to the odds. McCaffrey had 22 rushes for 126 yards with two touchdowns and also had seven catches for 40 yards in the 26-13 win against Kansas State.

Watson finished the Auburn 19-13 road victory on Saturday night completing 19-for-34 passes for 248 yards with a passing touchdown and an interception for a quarterback rating of 121.0. He also had 11 rushing attempts for 21 yards.

He completed 333 of 491 passes for 4,104 yards and 35 touchdowns and also had 207 rushes for 1105 yards and 12 scores this past season. His 5,209 yards of total offense and his 47 total touchdowns were ACC records, and his rushing total was a record for a Clemson quarterback. His 487 yards of total offense set a record for a National Championship game, and he is the first quarterback in FBS history to have at least 4,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards in a single season.

In his rookie campaign, Watson completed 67.9% of his passes for 1,466 yards (10.7 per attempt) with 14 touchdowns and only two interceptions for a quarterback rating of 188.57. He also had five scores rushing.
