It's the offseason in the NFL, and Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is undoubtedly making the most of it.

Watson has been in Israel this week as he tours historical sites around the country sponsored by the non-profit group America's Voices.

"This is a part of the world which gets a lot of attention internationally, and this is a chance for me to look beyond the headlines and learn more about the history and culture of this land," Watson said in a statement. "I have been blessed to visit many countries around the world, but the chance to visit the Holy Land, see the sites and meet the people of this special place, truly is a special blessing and an amazing opportunity.”

Watson had the unique opportunity to get baptized in the Jordan River.

"To be baptized in the waters of the Jordan River, sail on the Sea of the Galilee," he said via Sports Radio 610. "I am truly in awe of this wonderful land and the wonderful people who live here."
