Kelly Bryant on playing in Death Valley: "It was special"

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson senior quarterback Kelly Bryant spoke with the media about playing for the first time in Death Valley as a senior quarterback.

"It was good, special. Last time being for the first game as a senior so it was special," he said. "Tried to soak it up and enjoy it but it was good to put it together going against another opponent besides Clemson in practice. We got the win and we gonna enjoy it."

Bryant talked about his peformance on the field today.

"I managed it. It could have been better but in the end, we did what we had to do," he said. "I did the job; we moved the ball and put some points on the board."

Bryant said they didn't change anything after halftime with the offense.

"Nothing changed," said. "We went out with the same demeanor. We just had to keep attacking and execute."

For the game, Bryant was 10-for-16 for 127 passing yards and a touchdown. He also showed off his dual-threat ability with five rushes for 44 yards and another score.
