I'm pleased to present today's Historic Clemson Photo, submitted by long time TigerNet member Mintaka®.

From time to time I'll run across a photo from the 1930s that is much clearer and sharper than most during those years. The one above is of the 1938 baseball team. It's a great photo, but during the 1938 season we had a 6-12 record. Still, I'm impressed with the photo.

In reading their accounts of the season, they, like all teams, were full of hope of a

successful season at the start, but somehow things just failed to click. Partly because of injuries, partly because of pitching, they would come up short most of the time. Regardless of the record, however, they are still Tigers and today's photo is dedicated to these guys. Go Tigers!
