Former Valparaiso forward will transfer to Clemson |
Former Valparaiso forward David Skara will transfer to Clemson according to multiple sources. Skara - a Croatia native - spent two seasons at Valparaiso before deciding to transfer after his head coach left for Vanderbilt.
The 6-8, 210-pounder went home to Croatia to discuss his future with his family and chose Clemson over Georgia Tech and Richmond. He originally wanted to go to Vandy to follow his head coach, however, Valpo blocked his request. After sitting out a year, Skara will have two years of eligibility remaining. During his freshman season, he averaged 5.4 points and three rebounds in 19 minutes per game. Last season, he averaged over six points per game and three rebounds per game in just over 19 minutes per game. Congrats to DB's David Skara on committing to The Clemson Tigers today! pic.twitter.com/XzRZFZ50uZ
