Former Clemson defensive end Kevin Dodd will start training camp on the physically unable to perform list when training camp starts on Saturday.

Dodd had foot surgery back in May, and the team wants to take every precaution with the talented second-round draft pick.

"We felt like we’ve been very smart with the way we’ve handled his injury, and why push it?" Titans coach Mike Mularkey said via the Tennessean. "We think it’s a short-term PUP. Every couple days, we’ll test him to see where he’s at."

Dodd had a breakout 2015 season at Clemson with 62 tackles, 12 sacks and 23.5 tackles for loss (second in the nation behind Shaq Lawson). In the National title game against Alabama, Dodd played out of his mind with three sacks and five tackles for loss.
