Former Clemson guard has workout with Lakers |
'Bobby Buckets' to be part of the Lakers Showtime?
It could happen as former Clemson guard Gabe DeVoe has a workout scheduled with the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. The Lakers have the 25th, and 47th picks in the upcoming NBA Draft on June 21. Alongside Devoe, five other players will try to impress the Lakers' brass with Kansas State guard Barry Brown Jr., Temple forward Obi Enechionyi, Saint Mary guard Emmett Naar, Wofford guard Fletcher Magee, and Michigan forward Duncan Robinson. During his senior season, Devoe averaged 14.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. He showed off his impressive shooting range drilling 83 3-pointers which was sixth in the ACC. In his final 15 games as a Tiger, he had eight games with 20 or more points, including the career-high 31 against Kansas. He was also the first Clemson player to score 20+ points in three consecutive NCAA Tournament games.
