Former Clemson center signs contract with Pistons |
The Detroit Pistons announced their training camp roster on Monday and former Clemson center Landry Nnoko was signed as training camp starts on Tuesday.
Terms of the contract were not disclosed. Nnoko went undrafted in the 2016 NBA draft and played last season in the Italy League with VL Peasaro in the Série A league. He averaged 6.4 points and 7.1 rebounds in 30 games (24 starts). In June, he played in the Orlando Summer league with the Pistons for 10 days but didn't get a lot of minutes. During his senior season at Clemson, he averaged 8.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game. He finished his career fifth in Clemson history with 212 blocks and led the ACC with 2.3 blocks per game as a senior. For his collegiate career, he averaged 5.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game.
