The New York Jets announced on Wednesday afternoon that wide receiver Charone Peake was placed on the injured reserve because of an ankle injury that he suffered against the Miami Dolphins in week three.

Peake's 2017 season is over and he is currently signed with the Jets through the 2018 season. In three games this season, Peake played 28 snaps and had a catch for three yards against the Oakland Raiders.

During his rookie season, Peake had 19 receptions for 186 yards.

For his collegiate career, he had 99 catches for 1172 yards and ten scores. He was a seventh-round draft pick out of Clemson by the Jets in the 2016 NFL Draft.
