Former Clemson QB hired at Morehead State

Another Clemson product is moving up the coaching ranks.

Former Clemson signal caller Cole Stoudt has been hired as the new quarterback coach at Morehead State University in Kentucky.

"Officially can announce I will be the Quarterback Coach at Morehead State University," Stout posted on social media. "Truly blessed to have this opportunity and to do what I love most! My loving wife and I are thrilled for what is to come!" #GoEagles #MSU

Stoudt was a graduate assistant at Jacksonville State in Alabama during the last two years.

Official Clemson Bio: Served as the backup quarterback behind Tajh Boyd from 2011-13 and started the majority of games in 2014 ... was 277-421 passing for 2,634 yards and 17 touchdowns in 911 snaps over 35 games (eight starts) in his career ... completed 65.8 percent of his passes and had a 126.5 pass efficiency rating ... first in school history in completion percentage, third in interception avoidance (2.61) and ninth in passing efficiency ... had 200 yards and three touchdowns on 98 carries.
