Former Clemson OT makes Rams' practice squad

Former Clemson offensive tackle Isaiah Battle was named to the Los Angeles Rams' practice squad over the weekend.

Running backs Aaron Green and Terrence McGee, wide receiver Paul McRoberts, tight end Bryce Williams, defensive lineman Morgan Fox, linebacker Brandon Chubb, and defensive backs Michael Jordan and Blake Countess were also added to the practice squad.

An NFL practice squad can have ten players on the roster.

Battle was selected in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Supplemental Draft on July 9th. He was the first player chosen in the supplemental draft since 2012 (WR Josh Gordon).

The Rams had to forfeit their team's 2016 NFL 5th round pick for selecting Battle.
