According to multiple reports, former Clemson defensive end Tavaris Barnes, who spent last season with the New Orleans Saints, has signed a free agent contract with the Seattle Seahawks.

Barnes made the New Orleans roster last year as an undrafted rookie free agent, playing in 12 games and making five tackles in 131 snaps. New Orleans recently released Barnes, paving they way for his signing with the Seahawks.

During his Clemson career, Barnes had 64 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, 14 quarterback pressures, two pass breakups, one caused fumble and two recovered fumbles, including one for a touchdown, in 881 snaps over 47 games (four starts).
