Former Clemson defensive end
Andre Branch is signing with the Miami Dolphins with an one-year deal worth $3 million according to multiple reports.
Branch has been visiting with the Dolphins management the last two days, and he will now more than likely become the primary reserve behind Mario Williams and Cameron Wake. The Washington Redskins were also very interested in Branch's services. In 2015, Branch had 24 tackles, four sacks, and two forced fumbles. Branch had 18 tackles, two forced fumbles, and three sacks despite missing seven games in 2014 with a groin injury. In four NFL seasons (51 games, 13 starts) with the Jaguars, he had 91 tackles, five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, 14 sacks and 11 pass break-ups. He was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round (#38th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft and was signed to a four-year $5.1 million dollar contract.
