Former Clemson standout Deshaun Watson is taking some visits with NFL teams this week reportedly with the Kansas City Chiefs, Cleveland Brows, and Jacksonville Jaguars.
2016 SEC defensive player of the year Jonathan Allen played against Watson in two high-profile National Championship games the last two seasons and was blown away by the signal caller's talents.
“Unfortunately, I hate to say it, but Deshaun Watson is probably the most mentally tough player I’ve ever played against," Allen said in an interview with PFT Live. "There’s no way around it. He’s by far the best player I’ve ever played. As much as I hate to say it, he’s the real deal. When I hear reporters say he’s a mid-round or late-round guy, it blows my mind. I see him as a Top 5 pick. That’s just my personal opinion about it. He’s the real deal."
In 2016, Watson completed 388 passes out of 579 attempts for 4593 yards and 41 passing touchdowns with 17 interceptions (and his degree) for an adjusted QBR of 84.9.
