•Clemson scored a touchdown on its first possession this evening against Louisville. It was the 12th time in the 34 games Tony Elliott and Jeff Scott have been co-offensive coordinators that Clemson has scored a touchdown on its first possession. In the 34 games, Clemson has scored 12 touchdowns, had 12 punts, 1 made field goal, 2 missed field goals, five turnovers, and two fails on fourth downs on the first possession.

•When Greg Huegel kicked a 31 yard field goal in the second period he moved into eighth place on Clemson’s career scoring list. It gave him four points tonight and 264 for his career, three more than Chris Gardocki, who held eighth place with 261 heading into tonight. Gardocki played at Clemson from 1988-90.

•Huegel then kicked a 49 yard field goal in the last minute of the first half, the longest of his career. Previous long was 47 yards.

•The 79 yard scoring pass from Kelly Bryant to Ray-Ray McCloud in the first half was the longest offensive play for the Tigers since November 2, 2013 when Tajh Boyd connected with Sammy Watkins on a 96-yard scoring pass at Virginia.

•McCloud had 7-115 receiving in the first half to go with that touchdown. The junior already has a career high in reception yards. His previous best was 101 receiving yards at Georgia Tech last year.

•Kelly Bryant had 273 yards of total offense in the first half. His career high is 313 vs. Kent State in the season opener.

•Clemson ran 52 plays for 334 yards in the first half and controlled the clock for 20: 13.
