ESPN analyst has Clemson in the CFB playoff |
ESPN analyst David Pollack still has Clemson highly regarded after last season's National Championship and has the Tigers in his final four playoff prediction.
"My final four for this college football season," Pollack posted. "Highest to lowest in confidence. Ohio State, Bama, Stanford, and Clemson." Pollack explained his reasoning in picking the Tigers for another playoff berth. "I had FSU in my initial final four but put Clemson in BC I believe 100% in their D," Pollack tweeted. "FSU has the dudes on D but make too many big mistakes." Clemson will start the defense of its title on September 2 at home against Kent State. In other predictions, ESPN writer Heather Dinich had a preseason Top 4 on Wednesday of Ohio State, Alabama, Florida State, and USC. My final four for this college football season.
