ESPN: Clemson prediction for next 3 games

by -

From Heather Dinich of ESPN:

Clemson: Boston College, at Maryland, North Carolina

Georgia Tech: Maryland, at Virginia, at Miami

Clemson has an advantage in two home games, but other than that, these schedules are pretty dead even. Clemson's toughest opponent will be UNC, and the Yellow Jackets must beat Miami on the road. Both of them have to avoid flopping against teams they should beat, and Clemson, while it has proved to be much more consistent this year, is notorious for that (See: Maryland, 2009).

There's no question both of these teams are good enough to remain undefeated until their Oct. 29 date, but will they? We all know anything can happen in the ACC. Miami and UNC have the best chances of playing spoiler, and between those two teams, I'd say North Carolina has looked better so far.

Best chance to trip up: Clemson vs. UNC

Prediction: ACC fans will get a treat this year. We'll have a sneak preview of the ACC title game later this month, and it will feature two undefeated, ranked teams.
