Computer predicts score for Clemson-Kent State

by - Assoc. Editor -

The Clemson Football season is almost here as the Tigers are going through fall camp preparing to defend their National Championship.

Clemson will face Kent State on Saturday, Sept 2 at noon on ESPN at Memorial Stadium. The Tigers are currently favored by 38.5 points over the Golden Flashes.

Oddshark's released their computer-generated prediction of the matchup and it had a 48.0 to 13.2 win for Clemson.

I think that is a fairly decent prediction because I could see Kent State scoring a touchdown and/or a few field goals in the first half of action and then Clemson's tremendous depth and talent mauls them the rest of the game. A late bust for a touchdown for Kent State could happen as Swinney puts in the reserve players late in the game.
