College GameDay set for Clemson-Virginia Tech

by - Staff Writer -

ESPN's College GameDay announced Saturday night that they will host the college football pregame show next Saturday from No. 2 Clemson's trip to No. 13 Virginia Tech.

The undefeated Tigers (4-0) take on the undefeated Hokies (4-0) in an 8 p.m. ABC-televised game next week.

This is the second time this season Clemson has been in town for College GameDay, after the show went to Louisville in week three. Blacksburg, Virginia's Lane Stadium has hosted GameDay five times with the Hokies coming out on top in four of them.

Counting GameDay shows before Playoff games, Clemson has won the last four with the ESPN crew on site, while the Louisville win this year was the school's first in a road GameDay appearance (1-3).
