Clemson's T-shirt slogan for 2018: Accept The Challenge |
CLEMSON - Clemson head coach
Dabo Swinney is one of the nation's best motivational head coaches, and each year comes up with a different slogan that is worn on shirts and hats around the football program. This year's slogan appears to be "Accept the Challenge."
Swinney met with the media following Tuesday's scrimmage wearing a purple t-shirt that said: "Accept the Challenge." The number "4" is above the lettering, which might be anod to the fact that the Tigers are chasing a fourth consecutive College Football Playoff appearance. The CH in Challenge is a different color, however. Why? On the back of the shirt are four words that Swinney wants his team to remember - Change, Character, Champion, Charlotte, which means the 4 is also CH to the fourth power. Three of the team's goals each year involve championships - win the state championship (against South Carolina), win the ACC Atlantic Division and win the ACC Championship. The other goals are to win the opener, win the bowl game and win the final game.
