Clemson shortstop signee Charles Mack (Williamsville East HS, NY) was selected with the No. 184 overall pick in the sixth round of the MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday.
Mack was rated the No. 133 prospect going into the draft by MLB.com. The Twins announced him as a third baseman.
The 184th pick is slotted $253,700 by MLB.
The Twins have until July 15 to sign Mack to a pro contract.
If the Twins can sign Charles Mack that's an outstanding pick in the 6th round.— Carlos Collazo (@CarlosACollazo) June 5, 2018
Twins pick an especially interesting prep bat in Charles Mack. Can really swing it from the left side, good feel to hit, some power potential there, positional concerns, announced as 3B, he's played SS/2B/C in his prep career. Hit tool is the draw here— Brian Sakowski (@B_Sakowski_PG) June 5, 2018
