Clemson releases statement on foggy weather

Fans leaving Clemson, please be aware of dense fog in the area causing sharply reduced visibility in some locations. The dense fog is expected to become more widespread late tonight. Please use caution traveling home.

National Weather Service:

...PATCHES OF DENSE FOG DEVELOPING ACROSS THE AREA EAST OF THE

BLUE RIDGE ESCARPMENT...

High pressure was settling over the western Carolinas and

northeast Georgia this evening, with light wind and clearing sky.

Moisture left over from rain earlier in the day was contributing

to the development of fog across the region, some of which was

becoming dense in spots. People driving across the area east of

the mountains should be on the lookout for sharply reduced

visibility in some locations. The dense fog is expected to become

more widespread late tonight.
