Clemson guard to transfer

by - Staff Writer -

CLEMSON - Head coach Brad Brownell met with the media Saturday afternoon in Littlejohn to discuss the state of the basketball program and staff changes.

With that, he announced that sophomore guard Ty Hudson intends to transfer.

"Ty Hudson is planning to transfer. He and I met this week and he's going to look for a program that better meets his needs," Brownell said Saturday. "I think he feels like he needs a fresh start. We certainly appreciate what he's done in the last couple of years for us and wish him the best in the future."

Hudson appeared in 41 career games over the past two seasons, scoring 1.6 points per contest.
