Clemson joined four Coaches Poll top-11-ranked teams upset on the road this weekend to shake up the polls.

The Tigers dropped six spots to No. 8 in a new top-10 of Alabama, Penn State, Georgia, TCU, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Miami, Clemson, Oklahoma, and Southern California.

Clemson’s 27-24 loss as a 24-point favorite at Syracuse Friday just set the weekend in motion, where shortly after previous No. 9 Washington State fell 37-3 at Cal then No. 11 Auburn lost 27-23 at LSU and No. 5 Washington fell short, 13-7, at Arizona State.

The weekend left just seven unbeatens from Power 5 conferences.

Miami escaped with a 25-24 home win over Georgia Tech to move ahead of Clemson as the ACC's top-ranked team. Virginia Tech checks in at No. 14 and NC State at 17.
