We're only a game into the 2019 season but junior running back Travis Etienne set quite the standard.

In the national statistical rankings, Etienne ranks second nationally in rushing yards per carry (17.1), rushing touchdowns (3) and rushing yards (205) and top-5 in points responsible for (5th; 18) and total touchdowns (5th; 3).

As a team, Clemson ranks in the top-10 in the nation in sacks allowed (1st; 0), rushing offense (3rd; 411 YPG), fumbles recovered (4th; 2), turnovers gained (5th; 4), total offense (6th; 623), passes intercepted on defense (9th; 2) and scoring offense (10th; 52 PPG).

Looking ahead to Saturday, Texas A&M downed Sun Belt Conference foe Texas State 41-7 and ranks in the top-10 in passes intercepted defensively (1st; 4), sacks allowed (1st; 0), turnovers gained (5th; 4) and fewest penalties (9th; 3).
