Clemson bringing Tiger Rag to the Olympics

According to WYFF, Clemson will have chance to bring some Clemson flavor to the Olympic Games in London.

"We're going to play 'Tiger Rag,' a version Dr. Speed wrote that we have never played before, based on the Glen Miller version," said Tim Hurlburt, assistant director of bands.

According to school officials, Clemson University is one of only three schools in the nation selected to participate.

"The potential exposure for this ensemble and the university in general is incredible. We're just focused on what we need to do to provide a good performance and represent Clemson, the U.S. and South Carolina in a good light," Hurlburt said.
