Clemson WR among NFL.com's 10 to watch

Clemson senior wide receiver Hunter Renfrow was named one of the ten wide receivers to watch in college football by NFL.com on Wednesday.

"Ultimately, my goal here is to identify guys who will become good players in the NFL," NFL.com's Lance Zierlein writes, "and I'm...bullish on Renfrow right now -- even though he might not have the same upside as some others that could be listed here. Renfrow's production is relatively modest (he had a career-high 602 yards receiving last season), but he has also played on teams loaded with NFL talent. In clutch moments, Clemson QBs have not shied away from searching for Renfrow, and he's been able to deliver.

"His performances in back-to-back seasons against 2018 first-round pick Minkah Fitzpatrick should be an indicator of how good his hands are and how tough he is as a competitor. He's a slot-only receiver, but a darn good one."

Clemson could face three more receivers on the NFL.com list before bowl season, in No. 5 and South Carolina receiver Deebo Samuel, No. 6 FSU receiver Nyqwan Murray and No. 8 Miami receiver Ahmmon Richards.

Renfrow was named a top-150 player overall by NFL.com (140) as well. He's totaled 137 catches for 1,589 yards and 14 touchdowns over 40 career games, including 32 starts. Over five Playoff games, Renfrow has tallied five of those touchdowns and 31 receptions for 320 yards.
