Clemson SS selected #322 overall pick in MLB Draft

Clemson shortstop Eli White was selected in the 11th round with the #322 overall pick by the Oakland Athletics in the 2016 MLB Draft on Saturday.

In 2016, he batted .272 with four homers, 30 RBIs, and 24 stolen bases. For his collegiate career, he batted .275 with eight home runs, 61 RBIs, and 36 stolen bases.

He was drafted in the 37th round (1117th overall) by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2015 MLB Draft.
