The 2017 D1Baseball Freshman All-America teams were released on Wednesday and Clemson shortstop Logan Davidson was named to the first-team squad.

Davidson hit .286 with 56 runs, nine doubles, 69 hits, 12 homers, 41 RBIs, a .388 on-base percentage, 42 walks and ten steals. He became the first Tiger shortstop to hit double-digit homers in a season since 2007.

The ACC had four players on the first team All-American list.

Davidson had already been honored being named to Perfect Game's First-Team Freshman All-America team in June. He is the first Tiger shortstop to earn freshman All-America honors since Jeff Baker in 2000.
