Clemson DL ranked in McShay's Top 32 prospects

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson is loaded with elite talent shown by their three impressive wins against Kent State, Auburn, and Louisville to start the season.

ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay has updated the rankings of his Top 32 2018 NFL draft prospects and has Clemson defensive lineman Christian Wilkins ranked No. 13 overall and the second defensive lineman on the list. He was the biggest riser of the list jumping 19 spots with a No. 32 ranking previously.

"A disruptive run defender with the foot speed and quick hands to slip blocks rapidly, Wilkins is a high-motor guy who does a great job of getting his hands up in passing windows," McShay said. "He had 140 tackles (17.5 for losses) and 5.5 sacks over the past two seasons, and he already has 2.5 sacks in 2017. That's why he's my biggest riser."

Wilkins has 12 tackles and 2.5 sacks through three games this season.
