They are hitting .304 and have a 3.50 ERA and .986 fielding percentage. • Kory Shumate is 5-for-10 and Ryne Ogren is 7-for-17 (.412) with six RBIs. Robbie Welhaf tossed a no-hitter against Longwood on Saturday. QUICK HITS • Clemson played at least one game against Elon at Doug Kingsmore Stadium every year from 2002 to 2012, but has not faced Elon since 2012. • Tiger volunteer assistant coach Greg Starbuck was an assistant coach at Elon for 17 seasons (1999-15). • Clemson was 7-for-13 (.538) with two outs against Western Carolina on Wednesday after going 2-for-27 with two outs against Wright State.
