Celebrate Homecoming with the 55th annual Tigerama

CLEMSON — Clemson University will celebrate Homecoming with the 55th annual Tigerama Friday, Oct. 7, at Littlejohn Coliseum.

The event will begin on the lawn of Littlejohn at 5:30 p.m. with “Tailgate Tigerama,” a free festival featuring live music, appearances by Clemson student-athletes, games and prizes.

Tigerama will begin at 7 p.m. and will feature student organizations performing skits based on this year’s theme of “Through the Eyes of a Tiger.” The emcees for the evening are Jane Robelot and Col. Sandy Edge. Tigerama also will include a special appearance by Dabo Swinney and a skit by the football team, Tiger Band, the cheerleaders and Rally Cats, the a cappella group TIGEROAR and the crowning of Miss Homecoming. The show will conclude with a fireworks display. There will be a concert following the conclusion of Tigerama on Bowman Field by country singer Benton Blount of Greenville.

Tigerama tickets can be purchased in advance for $8 for the public and $6 for Clemson students and kids. Tickets are available at the Clemson ticket office at Memorial Stadium, the Littlejohn Coliseum box office, the Alumni Center and many downtown Clemson retailers, such as Mr. Knickerbocker’s, Tiger Sports Shop and The Athletic Department. Tickets purchased the day of the event are $10 for everyone. Tickets also are available online at http://www.tigerama.org.

Proceeds from the event benefit Blue Key’s Tigerama Scholarship Fund.
