Cardinals tender a contract to former Clemson WR

by - Assoc. Editor -

The Cardinals have tendered a contract of $1.671 million to restricted free agent and former Clemson wide receiver Jaron Brown on Thursday according to multiple reports.

The Cardinals will have five days to decide to match any future incoming NFL offer for Brown as a restricted free agent.

In 2015, Brown had 11 catches for 144 yards (13.1 average) and a touchdown. In three seasons with the Cardinals, he caught 44 passes for 513 yards and four touchdowns and he has also been a key member of their specials teams with 19 total tackles.

Brown was undrafted by the Cardinals back in 2013 but made the team with an impressive display in rookie camp.
