Clemson senior running back C.J. Davidson had one of his dreams come true to get the opportunity to play for the Clemson football team the last few years after playing at nearby Daniel High school.
Davidson posted a short letter to the Clemson Family on his facebook account.
To All of Clemson Family,
I want to thank each and every one of you for the support you have shown me throughout my career as a Tiger. As a product of both Seneca and Clemson, my time in both have taught me that it's through problems, failure, and weakness, that you recognize that adverse circumstances can become growth opportunities! Growing up in the area, I always wanted to play for the Tigers and having the chance to do so was a dream come true. Coach Swinney allowed me to help build the "All In" culture for this incredible program and for that I can't say thank you enough. I can truly say that I've become a man through my experiences here. Each year comes with new challenges & opportunities and through them I've learned what life is really about; faith, family, growth, love, and giving. I hope that I've made those who have selflessly supported me proud, pray that I can inspire others to fearlessly & relentlessly pursue their dreams, and hope to pour into lives like others have done for me! As I close this chapter of my life and begin another I am reminded that when my heart is overwhelmed, my Lord and Savior will lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
As Always Go Tigers,
