Booker: "He got his stats and he got the L as always"

by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson standout Trevor Booker took a personal jab at Oklahoma City power forward Enes Kanter in a Jazz 94-89 win over the Thunder.

Booker had the following to say about Kanter after his team's emotional win. "He got his stats and he got the L as always," Booker said on Jazz radio.

Kanter left the Jazz after three and a half years and said reportedly that his former team was unprofessional and the only thing he missed about Utah was the mountains (not the fans or teammates).

The Jazz have the best defensive rating in the NBA since Kanter's departure. Even small forward Gordon Hayword chimed in on Kanter's disrespectful comments.

"It is what it is. If he feels one way, that's fine," Hayward said to the Salt Lake Tribune . "I think it kind of hyped us up a little bit, gave us a little extra incentive. I think it pissed us off a little bit. I think it pissed the fans off, obviously, with the booing. They were tremendous tonight."
