Clemson had a heartbreaking double-overtime loss to Notre Dame on Saturday night.

However, the good news is that freshman quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei has played exceptional, completing 59 out of 85 passes for 781 yards with four touchdowns and zero interceptions in his first two collegiate starts.

His 439 passing yards against Notre Dame were the third-most in a game in school history and broke the school freshman record of 435, set by Deshaun Watson against North Carolina in 2014.

For the season in seven games, 'Big5Cinco' has completed 71 out of 104 passes for 883 yards with four touchdowns and zero interceptions for a passer rating of 152.3.

On Sunday, his proud father 'Big Dave' posted an old-school pic of a very young D.J. on his shoulders.

"I'm always going to be a proud dad," the older Uiagalelei tweeted.
