by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson defensive back Mackensie Alexander and Vikings' rookie wide receiver teammate Laquon Treadwell were invited to Target Field to participate in a home run challenge against the Twins' mascot and threw out the first pitch on Saturday.

The Mascot won the home run derby as Treadwell had two homers while Alexander had one.

The Vikings' first two picks were also able to meet legendary baseball manager Tommy Lasorda while attending the game.
