WESTERN CAROLINA OVERVIEW • Western Carolina is led by ninth-year head coach Bobby Moranda. • The Catamounts swept Virginia Military on the road last weekend. They are hitting .317 and have a 6.33 ERA and .960 fielding percentage. • Matt Smith is hitting .420 with nine homers and 33 RBIs, while Bryson Bowman is batting .339 with 11 homers, nine doubles and 37 RBIs. QUICK HITS • Clemson defeated Western Carolina 10-8 in Cullowhee on March 30.
