Walker's Injury Has Big Implications

by - Radio Host -

Roy Walker's knee injury has had a big effect on the early fall camp. Consider as a result of the injury:

1. Tavaughn Monts moved to free safety from rover to help replace Walker.

2. Tramaine Billie moved to rover to from WHIP to help replace Monts.

3. Brandon Nolen moved to rover to from RB to help replace Monts.

4. Robert Reese moved to rover to from CB to help replace Monts.

Also it means the Tigers will go to Antavious Coates and other safeties and tell him that their future free safety has to undergo major knee surgery and they are needed in Tigertown.

It also gives Michael Hamlin a chance to prove himself and perhaps avoid a red-shirt.

The staff loves Walker's range and athletic ability. They are hopeful that he can make the recovery for next season and his rehab is a success but his injury has already had the biggest effect on this camp.
