According to multiple sources close to the program, Senior quarterback Charlie Whitehurst will not play on Saturday versus Duke barring a dramatic change of events. The sources could not confirm, whether Whitehurst would be available as an emergency quarterback should Proctor go down. We do not expect Coach Bowden to make an announcement until Saturday, but look for Will Proctor to get his first start on Saturday.
