Clemson had 4 official visitors this weekend and one unofficial visitor (James Davis).


Clemson Visitors



Thomas Austin OL 6-4 265 5.10 Camden,SC

- Good trip and is a firm commitment.

- Little brother also came along on the trip and he will be one of the top junior defensive linemen this year.

- Chip Myrick was the player host.

- Could play center or guard.



Cory Lambert OL 6-7 270 5.00 Greenville,SC

- Qualified and will come in this summer not this spring because of the time it took to get through the NCAA Clearinghouse has put him behind on his classes. Clemson coaches want him to get off to a good start in classes and not start off weeks behind.



Barry Humphries OL 6-3 290 4.90 Belton,SC

- Good trip and is a firm commitment.

- Nathan Bennett was the player host.

- More than likely will be playing center.

- Plans to come up for spring practice



Larry Cox DE Fort Valley, GA CL1/28

- Good trip but did not commit. Clemson is not looking to sign him, just place.

- Trying to decide between Clemson and Florida.

- Might not have a decision on signing day.



RB James Davis 6-0 205 4.40 Atlanta,GA

- Went to Clemson on an unofficial visit so his family could see the campus

- Remains a firm Clemson commitment.



Other Notes



OL Quentez Ruffin 6-5 285 5.00 Tallahassee,FL

- Rumored to have visited Florida this weekend but did not make that trip.

- He is firm with his commitment to Clemson.



Eugene Hayes LB 6-1 215 Greenville, FL AUB,GA10/2,TN 1/14,CL1/21, FSU1/28


- Good trip to FSU this weekend. Ernie Simms was the player host.

- Says he had made a decision but will wait to announce it on signing day at 1:40PM.
