Question-I feel there's a very good chance, Chris McDuffie may not return to the Tiger squad....with DT already thin, how do you feel the coaches will compensate 4 this loss.-Wayne

Answer-First, lets not forget innocent until proven guilty. But if he does not return, then a couple of things come to mind. First is how the team will handle the emotional side of the suspension. Second, the returners must stay healthy. Coleman and Tate must stay in shape. Clark may see more snaps now. Groover was coming on strong in the last week of spring so he needs to continue that progress. Also, a couple of the freshmen may now play. Robinson, Scott, Gabriel, McKissik, etc. may now have a shot at avoiding a red shirt.

Question-If signing day was today, how do you like Clemson chances with WR/S, CJ Byrd? Wayne

Answer-I think Byrd will stay close to home. It is way too early, but if today was signing day then I think it is Clemson, Georgia, Florida State and Florida. I think the family and location is good news for Clemson but it is early.

Question-Any chance of him ever returning to Clemson to resurrect a football career?

Answer-None. Roscoe is a good kid, but he got bad advice and has had rotten luck. Life has been hard on Roscoe Crosby. I feel for him, but baseball might be his only choice.

Question-What are Clemson's chances of signing Muse & Stamper from First Coast High?

Answer-Whenever Dabo Swinney is involved they always have a chance. I think they have a great chance at both. I think Swinney will have Clemson there all of the way to the end. However, remember what happened at First Coast last year.
Editor's Note: Muse committed to Clemson in the morning on Friday July 9.
